today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create. This month's theme is "ATG / Wedding or Anniversary". I made a purple wedding card with lots of flowers. For weddings I like it a bit more splurging. The card is qite big. It's DIN A5, so youy have a lot of space to write a message to the newly weds.

heute startet die neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create. Das Thema ist "Alles geht / Hochzeit oder Jahrestag". Ich habe eine lila Hochzeitskarte mit vielen Blumen gemacht. Bei Hochzeitskarten kann es bei mir gerne etwas pompöser sein. Dadurch, dass die Karte mit DIN A5 recht groß ist, hat man auch viel Platz für eine Nachricht an das frischgebackene Ehepaar.

today starts our December Challenge over 613 Avenue Create and this month's twist is "Washi Tape". For this card I stamped the Christmas tree, embossed it and used some watercolors. Then I cut it in half and made two cards out of it. It's really huge.

Der August neigt sich dem Ende und es wird Zeit, sich im Bullet-Journal um einen neuen Monat zu kümmern. Ich bin noch recht neu im Bullet-Journaling. Seit vielen Jahren habe ich schon Kalender, in die ich meine Termine eintrage, aber dieses Jahr ist das erste Jahr mit einem BuJo. Ich lerne also noch, möchte aber dennoch einige Schritte meines Weges mit euch teilen.
Ganz weiße oder gepunktete Bullet-Journals sind am beliebtesten. Ich habe ein liniertes, weil es mir der Umschlag so gut gefiel und es das Design nur liniert gab. Aber die Linien halten mich nicht davon ab, mein BuJo ein wenig zu verzieren und für nächstes Jahr schau ich dann mal nach einem anderen. Aber erst einmal weiter im Text.

Als erstes habe ich mir überlegt, welche Farben ich für die Monatsübersicht nutzen möchte. Da mein BuJo creme-farbene Seiten hat, wollte ich in einem bräunlichen Bereich bleiben und habe mir ein Papier aus dem Capsule Geometric Mocha Paket ausgesucht und die Buchstaben des Monats ausgestanzt. Dabei habe ich die Buchstaben so auf dem Papier angeordnet, dass sich der Farbverlauf des Papiers im Wort wiederfinden lässt. Die Buchstaben habe ich dann Flach auf die linke Seite geklebt.

Auf der rechten Seite habe ich immer eine Monatsübersicht mit den wichtigsten Terminen. (Da ich im Internet nicht meine ganzen Termine veröffentlichen möchte, habe ich als Beispiel die Termine für die Müllabfuhr und Treppenhausreinigung eingetragen. Da kommen dann noch Geburtstage, Arzttermine, usw. dazu.) Oben habe ich noch einmal den Monatsnamen mit Memento "Rich Cocoa" gestempelt.
Das Wochenende markiere ich immer farblich, denn das Wochenende ist natürlich besonders wichtig. :D
Dafür habe ich mir eine Schablone aus Pappe geschnitten und darüber mit Distress Oxide verblendet.

 Da unten ein größerer Bereich frei bleibt, den ich nicht benötige, nehme ich mir gerne einen Stencil und verblende noch etwas Farbe darüber. Das habe ich auch auf der linken Seite unter dem Monatsnamen gemacht. Dabei habe ich zuerst "Vintage Photo" genommen und später mit "Walnut Stain" einige Stellen noch etwas nachgedunkelt. Und damit ist die Septemberübersicht auch fertig.

the last few months I got more and more into clean and simple designs, but from time to time I need to make a wedding card and those can be a bit more extravagant. This card is in DIN A5 (ca. 8 1/4 by 5 3/4 in) and leaves enough room on the inside for good wishes and maybe a poem or something like that. Wrapped in clear foil it will look good on the gift table and will not get lost between other enveloped cards.

The card is also for the new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this month's twist is "shabby chic". We'd love to see your creations!

in den letzten Monaten habe ich hauptsächlich "clean and simple" gearbeitet, also nach dem Motto: weniger ist mehr. Doch ab und zu muss dann eine Hochzeitskarte her und die darf auch gerne mal etwas üppiger sein, wenn es zum Brautpaar passt. Diese Karte ist in DIN A5, so dass man innen sehr viel Platz für Glückwünsche, ein Gedicht oder sonstige Gedanken hat. Hübsch in Folie verpackt ist sie auf dem Geschenketisch auf jeden Fall ein Hingucker und geht nicht zwischen anderen Karten verloren.

Die Karte ist außerdem für unsere neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create. Diesen Monat haben wir den Twist "Shabby chic" und ich hoffe, auch deine Kreationen dort sehen zu können.

vor kurzem habe ich bei CAS on Sunday gewonnen und wurde eingeladen, als Gastdesigner eine Karte bei der heutigen Challenge vorzustellen. Das Thema ist "Pets" (Tier/Haustier) und ich habe dafür eine herbstliche Karte gemacht.
Die geschwungene Ranke ist aus orangemd Glanzkarton gestanzt und setzt einen netten Akzent gegenüber der Wasserfarben.

ja, der Titel ist richtig, das ist eine Karte zur Taufe. Sie sollte absichtlich keine religiösen Symbole haben, so hatte sich meine Schwester das gewünscht. Sie wollte die Karte verschenken. Eine Katze sollte darauf sein. Katze und nichts religiöses. Dabei ist dann diese süße Karte mit einem Hauch Vintage entstanden. :)
Diese Karte ist auch ein Gastdesigner Stück für scrapping4Fun, die gerade ihre 66. Challenge haben. Das Thema ist "Retro/Vintage".

Vader-Geburtstagskarte / Vader Birthday Card

passend zum Schlechtwetter-Wochenende habe ich eine Filmkarte hier. Ich werde zwar nicht dazu kommen, viele Filme zu schauen, da ich mit den Halbjahreszeugnissen anfangen muss, aber bei dem Dauerregen da draußen, der ab und an mal in Schneeregen übergeht, bekommt mich nichts aus der Wohnung raus. Da wird sicher Zeit für einen oder zwei Filme bleiben.
Die Karte war recht schnell fertig. Ich glaube, am längsten hab ich am Todesstern gesessen, dabei besteht der nur aus einem Kreis und zwei warmen Grautönen der Copics. Vader ging an sich schnell, aber ich hatte ja schon einmal eine Vaderkarte gemacht.

it's rainy and stormy and sometimes a bit snowy outside, so I planned for this weekend nothing outside. Just staying at home, working in the half-year school certificates (there must be a better english word for that) and watching some films.
Speaking of films, I have a Darth Vader card here. It was made quite fast. I had expirience coloring the Vader, so just the death star took some time. Even though it's just a circle and two shades of warm grey copics.

Herbstkarte / Autumn Card

Hallo :)

auch heutre habe ich wieder eine Karte für euch!
Draußen schaut nun endlich auch mal die Sonne vorbei

und es sieht richtig schön herbstlich aus. Gestern sollte

auch schon die Sonne scheinen, aber da war es hier nur

trüb und regnerisch. Das gehört zwar auch mit zum Herbst,

aber ich mag ihn kalt, sonnig und farbenfroh lieber. :)

Deswegen habe ich auch diese Karte gemacht, denn die 

warmen Farben sind genau so, wie ich den Herbst gerne hätte.

today I have another card for you. 

The sun is shining now and we have a beautiful autumn 

day. It was supposed to be like that yesterday too,but it was 

rainy and muddy all day. We have a lot of rainy days in 

fall, but I like cold, sunny and colorful autumn-days better. :)

That's why I made this card. Those warm colors are exactly 

how I want the fall to be.

heute haben wir wieder eine neue Challenge bei Morgan's Artworld

und das Thema dieser Challenge ist "pink", um auf das Thema Brustkrebs

aufmerksam zu machen. Dafür habe ich diese Rose genommen und sie mit

meinen Copics coloriert. Dazu meinen neuesten Sruchstempel genommen,

den ich ganz frisch bei Create a Smile ersteigert habe. Ich finde diese

großen Spruchstempel oder Stanzteile ganz toll, nur meist sind sie auf

englisch und das passt halt nicht zu jedem Empfänger.

Wenn Du auch eine pinke Karte hast, dann komm schau doch mal bei

and for some recipients, I like a german sentiment better.

TBT 25: Monster-Shaker-Card

Hallo :)

heute habe ich mal wieder eine Karte für den Throwback Thursday.
Dabei stelle ich Karten oder Projekte vor, die schon älter sind, die

vielleicht nicht optimal sind oder mir nicht gefallen. :D
Dennoch poste ich sie gerne, da sie auch zeigen, wie ich mich entwickelt

habe und dass nicht immer alles optimal läuft.

 

Die Karte ist ok, aber haut auch nicht um.
Irgendwie wirkt sie mir zu leer, zu unproportioniert.

Da fehlt was und trotzdem hat man Angst, dass alles mehr zu 

zu viel sein könnte. Seltsam.

This card is okay, but no hit either.

It is empty and unbalanced. Something seems to be

TBT 24: Eulenkarte / owl card

Hallo :)

heute habe ich mal wieder eine Karte für den Throwback Thursday.
Dabei stelle ich Karten oder Projekte vor, die schon älter sind, die

vielleicht nicht optimal sind oder mir nicht gefallen. :D
Dennoch poste ich sie gerne, da sie auch zeigen, wie ich mich entwickelt

habe und dass nicht immer alles optimal läuft.

Eulenkarten haben ich ja schon viele gemacht. Dies ist eine meiner
früheren Karten. Ich fand das damals ganz süß, heute nicht mehr.
Sie ist zwar nett coloriert, aber das Konzept sagt mir nicht mehr zu.

today at throwback thursday I have again a card.
In this series I show older cards and projects I am not happy with

and I never posted before. But I think it's important to show them to.

To show that not everything is going as planned
and how I develpoed my skills. :)

 

I made a lot owl cards as you know and this is one of my early

cards. I thought it was cute, but I changed my mind. The coloring
is okay, but I don't like the design of the card anymore.

Hallo :)

Da bin ich mal wieder! In letzter Zeit war es etwas ruhiger,

da ja meine Freitagskarten leider nun wegfallen. Da ich auch

krank war, hatte ich wenig Lust, irgendetwas zu machen.
Aber nun geht es mir besser und ich habe eine Karte für die neue

Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create. Diese Woche ist der Twist 

"Mach Deine eigene Challenge" und dafür gibt es auch eine

kleine Liste und ich bin mal wieder quer durchgegangen. :)
Dafür habe ich auch das super tolle Bild von A Day for Daisies

genommen und es mit meinen neuen Spectrum Aqua Markern 

coloriert. Das erste Mal, dass ich richtig mit ihnen coloriert habe

und ich fand es super! Und ich finde, es ist mir auch ganz gut

gelungen. Leider sieht man auf dem Bild nicht so gut, dass vorne

aus dem Zauberstab noch eine Glitzerspur kommt. Wink of Stella

schimmert so toll unter Kunstlicht, aber bei Tageslicht hab ich immer

Probleme damit, das auf einem Foto einzufangen.

here I am again! It was quiet on my blog lately. I was sick and

I don't have the friday-cards anymore, so I was not motivated to

craft or post something.
But now I'm back and I have a new card for a new challenge for you.
Over on 613 Avenue Create we a have a ATG challenge like always,

but this week with the twist: "Create your own challenge". 

For that we have a chart with stuff and you should use one thing from 

each column. I jumped right in. :D
I used this super cute image by A Day for Daises and colored her

with my new Spectrum Aqua Markers. That was a lot of fun and
I love the result. I am just a bit sad that you can't see the wink of

stella on the photo. It didn't want to shimmer in daylight.

Her wand leaves a shimmery trail. You just have to believe me! ;)
