I created this card with this beautiful girl I don't use often enough. A combination of cool and warm greys and some skin colors creates a monochrome look.

today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this month's theme is "use a rubber stamp". So I used my new pear stamp by Penny Black and used the Spectrum Aqua Markers on it. The stamp has wonderful details on it which get lost when used with watercolors, but that's how it is.

Die Details des Stempels gehen zwar dabei verloren, aber das ist nun mal so, wenn man Aquarellfarben nutzt.

heute haben wir eine neue Challenge bei Morgans Artworld und das Thema für die nächsten zwei Wochen ist "Tag it", also Anhänger. Ich habe dafür diese Landschaft von Morgan genommen und sie zwei Mal ausgedruckt. Einen Ausdruck habe ich coloriert und ausgestanzt. Danach habe ich sie genau auf den anderen Ausdruck geklebt. Spotlight coloring nennt man das, wobei ich kein rundes Spotlight habe, sondern einen Tag als Spotlight. :)
Wenn auch Du Lust hast, an der Challenge teil zu nehmen, dann schau einfach mal vorbei! Es ist auch nicht notwendig, einen von Morgans Stempeln zu nutzen. Jedes Projek, das zur Challenge passt, darf teilnehmen.

today we a have a new challenge over at Morgan's Artworld and the theme is "tag it". The Challenge will run for 2 weeks, so you have plenty of time to get out your crafty stuff out and play along. You don't have to use an image by Morgan, you just have to follow the challenge rules.
For my project I printed this image by Morgan twice and colored one with copics. Then I die cut a tag out of it and glued it to the other print. It's a spotlight coloring technique, although my spotlight is not round, but a tag. :)

DT: die kleine Meerjungfrau / little Mermaid

heute startet eine neue Challenge bei Artistic Inspirations und unser Sponsor ist Star Stampz. Ich habe die kleine Meerjungfrau genutzt und sie großformatig für die Karte coloriert. Das rote Haar war aber eine große Herausforderung, da ich es zwar kräftig und leuchtend haben wollte, aber auch nicht ins pinke abrutschen wollte.

Die Challenge läuft zwei Wochen und wird die letzte Challenge für Team B in diesem Jahr sein, weil Artistic Inspirations eine kleine Weihnachtspause einlegt. Das neue Jahr startet dann aber ohne mich. Ich war über ein Jahr dabei und habe mich aus verschiedenen persönlichen Gründen dazu entschlossen, das Team zu verlassen. Was aber überhaupt nichts mit dem Team zu tun hat, so dass ich auch kein schlechtes Gewissen habe, hier darauf aufmerksam zu machen, dass Artistic Inspirations einen Design Team Call hat und noch neue Leute für 2017 sucht. Im Schnitt muss man ein Projekt im Monat machen und bei einer zweiwöchigen Challenge pro Monat kommentieren und man sollte einigermaßen gut englisch können, da es eine internationale Challenge ist und das Team auch auf englisch kommuniziert.
Schau doch mal vorbei!

today starts a new challenge over at Artistic Inspirations and our sponsor is Star Stampz. I used this cute mermaid image and colored it with my copics. The red hair was a real challenge. I wanted it to be bold and vibrant, was afraid it would turn out to be too pink. 

The challenge will run for two weeks and will be the last challenge for Team B this year due to a small christmas break. The new year will start without me. I gave it a lot of thought and decided to leave the team after over a year. It has nothing to do with the team, it's a lot of personal reasons. 
So I have no problem to tell you about the Design Team Call Artistic Inspirations has. They are looking for new people for 2017. It's mostly just one project per month and you would have to use sponsor images and sometimes a theme. You have enough time to prepare and most sponsors let you choose an image. Also commenting is a part of the design team job. So for your challenge (2 weeks a month) you would have to comment on specific entry numbers.

heute gibt es wieder eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und wie immer ist das Thema "alles geht". Der Twist diese Woche ist etwas umständlicher. :D
"Ein weißerer Farbton als blass - Gestalte dein Projekt mit neutralen Farben: weiß und beige. Schwarz und hell rosa können als Akzentfarben genutzt werden". Man man man, das setzte mich ganz schön unter Druck. :)
Aber mit dem tollen Stempel unseres Sponsors Oddball habe ich eine recht ansehnliche Karte gebastelt. Zumindest meinen Geschmack trifft sie. Ob ich den Twist gut getroffen habe, überlasse ich anderen Richtern. Zu meiner Farbpallette gehört beige nur sehr begrenzt.

heute gibt es wieder eine neue Challenge bei Morgan's Artworld und das Thema für die kommenden zwei Wochen ist "for the Ladies". Dafür habe ich Fae 24 von Morgan genommen und mit meinen Copics coloriert. Den Rahmen habe ich in kalten Grautönen gehalten und nur das zentrale Bild in Farbe gesetzt. An den Haaren muss ich nach wie vor arbeiten, aber ich bin dennoch zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. :)

heute habe ich nicht nur eine neue Karte, sondern auch noch andere

Neuigkeiten: Ich bin in das Designteam von Artistic Inspirations auf-

genommen worden und nun werde ich einmal im Monat eine Karte

für sie machen, denn die Challenges laufen immer 2 Wochen. Jede
Challenge ist Alles geht, meistens aber mit einem Twist, der bei dieser

Challenge "Magie" heißt. Dafür hatte ich mir das tolle Einhorn von 

unserem Sponor Make it Crafty ausgesucht und reichlich mit Aquarell-

farben experimentiert. Ein paar silberne Sternchen dienen als Verzierung,

ansonsten habe ich die Karte schlicht gehalten, weil ich das Augenmerk 

auf die Farben lenken wollte. :)

Hallo :)

Da bin ich mal wieder! In letzter Zeit war es etwas ruhiger,

da ja meine Freitagskarten leider nun wegfallen. Da ich auch

krank war, hatte ich wenig Lust, irgendetwas zu machen.
Aber nun geht es mir besser und ich habe eine Karte für die neue

Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create. Diese Woche ist der Twist 

"Mach Deine eigene Challenge" und dafür gibt es auch eine

kleine Liste und ich bin mal wieder quer durchgegangen. :)
Dafür habe ich auch das super tolle Bild von A Day for Daisies

genommen und es mit meinen neuen Spectrum Aqua Markern 

coloriert. Das erste Mal, dass ich richtig mit ihnen coloriert habe

und ich fand es super! Und ich finde, es ist mir auch ganz gut

gelungen. Leider sieht man auf dem Bild nicht so gut, dass vorne

aus dem Zauberstab noch eine Glitzerspur kommt. Wink of Stella

schimmert so toll unter Kunstlicht, aber bei Tageslicht hab ich immer

Probleme damit, das auf einem Foto einzufangen.

here I am again! It was quiet on my blog lately. I was sick and

I don't have the friday-cards anymore, so I was not motivated to

craft or post something.
But now I'm back and I have a new card for a new challenge for you.
Over on 613 Avenue Create we a have a ATG challenge like always,

but this week with the twist: "Create your own challenge". 

For that we have a chart with stuff and you should use one thing from 

each column. I jumped right in. :D
I used this super cute image by A Day for Daises and colored her

with my new Spectrum Aqua Markers. That was a lot of fun and
I love the result. I am just a bit sad that you can't see the wink of

stella on the photo. It didn't want to shimmer in daylight.

Her wand leaves a shimmery trail. You just have to believe me! ;)

man man man, was für eine schwüle Hitze wir hier passend zum
Schulstart haben. Ich hoffe, dass es nächste Woche besser wird,
sonst weiß ich noch nicht, wie das mittags mit den Kindern in der
Schule werden soll. Im Moment haben die alle noch nur 4 Stunden,
aber ab nächster Woche geht es richtig los.

Da schon wieder Freitag ist, habe ich natürlich auch eine Karte für euch,
denn es gibt eine neue Challenge bei der Sister Act Card Challenge.
Dieses Mal noch einmal eine meiner Eulenkarten. Das ist imemr noch
einer meiner meist genutzen Stempel, denk ich. :D

Hallo :)
heute ist der letzte Schultag hier in NRW.
Und damit verabschiede ich meine Drittklässler

in die Sommerferien und meine Viertklässler auf

die weiterführenden Schulen. Auf der einen Seite

sind alle ganz froh darüber, aber natürlich ist man

auch traurig. So lässt man sie dann also mit einem

lachenden und einem weinenden Auge ziehen.
Und ich freue mich auf ein wenig Ruhe und Freizeit.
Die letzten Wochen waren sehr anstrengend, da die

Viertklässler sich schon mental von der Grundschule

verabschiedet hatten und an den neuen Schulen 

angenommen waren und somit den Unterricht bei

uns als unnötig ansahen... :)

Wie jeden Freitag gibt es natürlich auch eine neue

Challenge bei Sister Act Card und dieses Mal ist

Für meine Karte habe ich Aquarellhintergrund gemacht.
Ich bin im Moment ein wenig im Aquarellfieber. :D

today is the last day of school in my state and our summer

break starts. Everyone is pretty excited about it. And I need

the break. The last weeks have been super busy and stressful.

The fourth graders are leaving primary school and going to

secondary schools and since they are accepted there they see

no point in working and learning anymore. :( :D
