Hello and happy easter!

I hope you have a wonderful sunday, maybe some easter celebrations with the family or friends?!
I am at my parent's house, the kids are running around, chasing the easter bunny and looking for eggs and I relax.
Also we have a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this month's challenge is "ATG / use vellum". I made a wedding card with some watercoloring and paper flowers. I don't use those flowers very often, but for a wedding card it can be a bit more.

Ich habe eine Hochzeitskarte mit Aquarellfarben und Papierblumen gemacht. Ich nutze nicht häufig solche Blumen, aber für eine Hochzeitskarte kann es ruhig schon mal gerne etwas mehr sein.

today I have another monochrome card to show. I am in a very monochrome mood lately. For this card I used Mama Elephants super cute yeti with some sparkly balloons from another Mama Elephant Set.

Blue Leaves / Blaue Blätter

Hello and Happy New Year! :)
I hope you had a wonderful christmas and a happy new year! My christmas was wonderful, but my start into the new year rather rough. I got a cold and the weather is dark, stormy and rainy and I haven't seen the sun in ages. Doesn't help with getting better. But since the weather is so bad I have some time to craft and think about my blog and social media.
I posted not that much cards last year and I feel bad about it, but couldn't get myself to post more. Why? I don't know! But my resolution for 2018 is to post more often again and I started an Instagram Account. So another plattform to post? Well, yes! Not that I want to, but I have the feeling not getting by without Instagram. Challenges, Giveaways, News, Design Team Requirements, etc., is now on Instagram.
So I will change my Social Media on my sidebar to include Instagram and you can come and check me out. ;)

Now to my card:
I got my Simon Says Stamp Thanksgiving order early this year and I had to use the Fractile Leaves first! It's not just a fall/autumn stamp set for me. I went with those icy colors.

Hallo und frohes neues Jahr! :)
Ich hoffe, ihr hattet ein wunderschönes Weihnachtsfest und einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr. Mein Weihnachten war toll, aber der Rutsch ins Neujahr eher holprig. Ich habe mir irgendwo eine Erkältung eingefangen und lag dann erstmal flach, wobei das graue, nasse und stürmische Wetter draußen auch nicht wirklich hilft, wieder fit zu werden. Aber was kann man tun, wenn es draußen eklig ist und man noch Urlaub hat? Genau! Basteln und über den Blog nachdenken.
Ich habe letztes Jahr nicht so viel gepostet. wie ich es eigentlich geplant hatte. Ich weiß nicht genau, warum. Gebastelt habe ich, aber den Blog habe ich vernachlässigt. Aber ich gelobe Besserung. Ich habe mir für 2018 vorgenommen, wieder mehr zu posten und ich habe mit Instagram begonnen. Was? Noch eine Plattform, wobei ich es mit dem Blog nicht mal hinbekommen habe? Hm, ja?! Nicht, weil ich unbedingt will, sondern weil ich mich eher gezwungen sehe, weil immer mehr zu Instagram abwandert: Challenges, Giveaways, Neuigkeiten, es ist verpflichtend für viele Design Teams, usw.
Also werde ich meine Social Media Icons auf meiner Sidebar überarbeiten und Instagram hinzufügen und wenn du mich da mal besuchen möchtest, freu ich mich sehr darüber. :)

Nun zu meiner Karte:
Thanksgiving habe ich bei Simon Says Stamp bestellt und Anfang des Jahres kam die Bestellung endlich an und ich musste sofort das "Fractile Leaves" Set benutzen. Für mich ist das nicht nur ein Herbst-Stempelset, sondern funktioniert auch gut mit den eisigen Farben!

today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create Challenge and the theme is "sentimental journey", so your sentiment should be the focal point of your project, it should be clean and simple (CAS) and you should use the color blue.
I used some Altenew stamps for an emboss resist technique and a hugher sentiment in silver as my focal image. Some clear drops, splatters and sequins were added as finishing touches. :)

Frohes Neues Jahr!!
heute startet eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und es geht um die beliebtesten Techniken. Ich habe für stempeln, Copics, Schüttelkarte  und eigenen Spruch entschieden.
Mein kleiner Neffe hat uns allen einen "gut Flutsch ins neue Jahr" gewünscht und weil er traurig war, dass er Weihnachten keine Schüttelkarte erhalten hat (sondern nur eine normale, doofe, ohne rasseln), habe ich ihm eine Silvesterkarte gemacht. :)

Today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and we had to use our favorite techniques for our projects. Mine were stamping, shaker element, copic coloring and creating my own sentiment. 
In Germany we wish "a good slide into the new year" (guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr) before the new year starts and when the new year is there, we say "happy new year" (frohes neues Jahr).
My three year old nephew wished as a more colloquial wish which I used for my sentiment.
I made this card for him because he was a bit sad that his christmas card wasn't a shaker card.

heute haben wir eine neue Challenge bei Artistic Inspirations und unser Sponsor ist Robyn's Fetish. Ich habe den tollen Geist benutzt und ihn in verschiedenen Größen (auch mal seitenverkehrt) ausgedruckt. Dazu habe ich die Hexe von einem Clearly Besotted Stempelset genommen (gehört eigentlich zu einem Märchen) und einen Halloweenspruch. Ich wollte einen clean and simple Stil und das hat ganz gut geklappt. Ich wollte für den Hintergrund nur einen Hauch Farbe, da es nicht zu dominant werden sollte. Zunächst hatte ich Angst, dass die Farbe Streifen oder Flecken haben könnte, aber ich habe das Blending-Tool mehrfach abgetupft und ganz vorsichtig in mehreren Schichten gearbeitet und das hat super geklappt.

today starts a new challenge over at Artistic Inspirations and our sponsor is Robyn's Fetish. I used this awesome ghost and printed it several times in different sizes (and inverted). I added a witch and cauldron by Clearly Besotted (from a Fairytale Set) and a Halloweensentiment by another Company. I went for a clean and simple look and it worked quite well. I only wanted a soft ink blending in the background and that was easier than I expected. I was afraid to get streaks of ink, but I tapped the blender tool several times and used a very light hand and several layers.

ja, ich bekomme nicht genug davon. Ich gebe es zu. Ich habe die ganze Woche wie wild mit meinem Blending Tool rotiert und embossed. Ich bin süchtig. Ich kann es nicht ändern.
Zudem habe ich derzeit eine neue Lieblingsfarbkombi, die man in nächster Zeit noch häufiger bei mir sehen wird. Darf ich vorstellen? Lila-rot-orange-gelb. Es freut mich, Sie kennen zu lernen. :)

türkis-blauer Geburtstag / Teal Birthday

Hallo :)
ich brauchte eine Geburtstagskarte für meine beste Freundin und als ich letzte Woche bei ihr war, sah ich eine tolle türkis-blaue neue Vase auf dem Schrank im Wohnzimmer, von der sie total begeistert war. Also dachte ich mir, dass ich ihr im gleichen Farbton eine Karte mache. Also habe ich die Distress Inks verblendet, verblendet und verblendet, bis mir der Arm weh tat. :D
Aber es hat sich gelohnt, der Übergang der beiden Farben ist schön geworden. Jetzt muss sie nur noch den Postweg überstehen...

I needed a card for my best friend's birthday on thursday. When I visited her last week, she had a new teal vase in her living room and she was so happy about it I thought by myself: I need to make her a matching card. So I blended, blended, blended till my arm was hurting, but it was so worth it. :D
The transition from "Mermaid Lagoon" to "Peacock Feather" is is good and I am happy with the result. I just hope it goes well through the mail...

Bei dieser Karte habe ich mich an no-line watercoloring versucht. Ich coloriere ja normalerweise mit Copics, da war dieses Vorhaben schon eine Herausforderung. Es ist nicht perfekt, aber für den Anfang bin ich ganz zurfrieden. :)

For this card I challenged myself to some no-line water coloring. I usually color my images with copics, so this was a bit tougher, but I think it worked out fine. It's still not perfect though. ;)
The sentiment reads something like "let yourself be celebrated". So it's for someone who has to celebrate something and will be the centre of the celebration.
