today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and the twist is "blended background". I made a Star Wars card with Rey and BB2 on a desert planet. The background is blendet with distress oxide, the sun also and the sand is done with copics.

heute startet die Juni-Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und der Twist diesen Monat ist "verblendeter Hintergrund". Da passt ein herrlicher Sonnenuntergang in einer Star Wars Karte doch prima. Ich habe den Himmel und die Sonne mit Distress Oxides verblendet und den Sand mit Copics gemacht.

today starts the may challenge over at 613 Avenue Create. The theme is "Shaker card" and I made a Star Wars themed one. Yesterday was "may the fourth", so it was star wars day. But I think, every day should be star wars day. :)
The sentiment reads "Happy Birthday to you, marmalade in your shoe". It's from a silly german birthday song kids love to sing.

heute startet eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und das Thema ist "Schüttelkarte. Ich habe eine Star Wars Schüttelkarte dafür gemacht, schließlich war gestern der vierte Mai und auf englisch klingt "may the fourth" wie "may the force be with you". Es war also Star Wars-Tag.
Wobei eigentlich jeder Tag Star Wars Tag sein sollte. :)

Luke Skywalker on Tatooine

today I have another Star Wars card. I am still in some kind of Star Wars bubble which is weird since I wasn't that hyped after seeing Episode 7 or Rogue One. But Episode 8 brought my right back into the Star Wars Universe.

I wanted to do something with the hero arts december kit since I got it, but neither time nor muse were in my side. So after coloring the Lego Luke Skywalker I thought about a background and the arabian nights card kit came back into my mind. So I colored a Tatooine background and the card was done. :D

da bin ich mal wieder und habe wieder eine Star Wars Karte im Gepäck. Ich bin immer noch gehyped von Star Wars, was komisch ist, da ich es nach Episode 7 und Rogue One nicht war. Die Filme haben mir gut gefallen, aber nach Episode 8 war ich wieder voll im Star Wars Universum.

Mit dem Hero Arts Dezember Kit wollte ich schon seit einiger Zeit etwas anstellen, aber entweder hatte ich keine Zeit oder keine Muse. Nachdem ich aber den Luke Skywalker coloriert hatte, brauchte ich einen Hintergrund und da fiel mir die Düne aus dem Set wieder ein. Also wurde es herausgekramt, der Sand coloriert, ein Himmel verblendet und fertig war die Karte. :)

GD: Star Wars Rey Card (for Aliciabel)

Hallo :)
heute bin ich Gastdesigner bei der Aliciabel-Challenge und durfte mit diesem tollen Digi von Rey spielen. Das Thema der Challenge ist "Movie" und da hat Aliciabel ganz viele passende Stempel, so dass mir die Wahl sehr schwer fiel, aber Rey stach dann doch heraus. Ich mache schon mal gerne Star Wars Karten und da ist ein Stempel für eine "Mädchenkarte" genau das, was mir noch fehlt, auch wenn meine Karte farblich nicht so mädchenhaft ist.

today I am the proud guest designer over at the Aliciabel Challenge and I had the chance to play with this wonderful Rey digi stamp. The challenge theme is "movie" and Aliciabel has a lot wonderful movie related stamps and I needed some time to decide. But I love making star wars cards and I needed an image for a girl's card. My card isn't that girly with those colors, but Rey can't be pink!  :D

Vader-Geburtstagskarte / Vader Birthday Card

Hallo :)
passend zum Schlechtwetter-Wochenende habe ich eine Filmkarte hier. Ich werde zwar nicht dazu kommen, viele Filme zu schauen, da ich mit den Halbjahreszeugnissen anfangen muss, aber bei dem Dauerregen da draußen, der ab und an mal in Schneeregen übergeht, bekommt mich nichts aus der Wohnung raus. Da wird sicher Zeit für einen oder zwei Filme bleiben.
Die Karte war recht schnell fertig. Ich glaube, am längsten hab ich am Todesstern gesessen, dabei besteht der nur aus einem Kreis und zwei warmen Grautönen der Copics. Vader ging an sich schnell, aber ich hatte ja schon einmal eine Vaderkarte gemacht.

it's rainy and stormy and sometimes a bit snowy outside, so I planned for this weekend nothing outside. Just staying at home, working in the half-year school certificates (there must be a better english word for that) and watching some films.
Speaking of films, I have a Darth Vader card here. It was made quite fast. I had expirience coloring the Vader, so just the death star took some time. Even though it's just a circle and two shades of warm grey copics.
