we have a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this month's challenge theme is "Exploding Boxes / Pop up Boxes". I made this pop up box card with the Lawn Fawn Die and the cute "Ginger Snaps" stamps from SugarPea. The senitment ist by Create a Smile.

Christmas in July

it's almost 30°C outside and I am making christmas cards? Well, summer break is the best time for me. I have a lot of time and christmas is far enough away not to be stressfull. I will make some cards closer to christmas too. I know myself and although I have tons of christmas stamps and papers and stuff I will buy something from the new releases this fall.
For this card I took a more modern approach with some untraditional colors.

draußen sind es fast 30 Grad und ich sitze an den Weihnachtskarten? Ja, denn in den Sommerferien habe ich die meiste Zeit dafür. Zwar werden auch noch einige Karten gemacht, wenn die neuen Weihnachtssachen raus sind und ich mal wieder nicht widerstehen konnte, aber einige Karten bereite ich auch schon gerne im Sommer vor. Denn wie jeder weiß: je näher Weihnachten rückt, desto stressiger wird es.
Hier habe ich eine etwas modernere Karte mit unklassischen Farben gemacht.

Christmas 2017 - No. 004

yes, another christmas card. To get them all posted before christmas, I have to spam. :D
I stamped the background in VersaMark. This card is part of my "great cards with Action products" - Series. Action is a dutch discount shop which expands fast into all of europe and they have super cheap craft supplies. Not all fits my taste, but I wanted to challenge myself to use them in my style.

ja, noch eine Weihnachtskarte. Um sie alle vor Weihnachten gepostet zu bekommen, muss ich ein bisschen spamen. :D
I habe den Hintergrund der Karte mit VersaMark gestempelt. Die Karte ist Teil meiner "schöne Karten mit Material vom Action"-Serie. Wer Action nicht kennt, das ist ein niederländischer Discounter, der günstige Bastelsachen verkauft und Deutschland und Europa immer weiter erobert. Nicht alles trifft immer meinen Geschmack, aber ich wollte mich selbst herausfordern, mit den Produkten Karten in meinem Style zu machen.

Christmas time is closing in and I have TONS of cards. Since I was pretty lazy last year with posting my cards, I want to be more busy this year and post all my cards. It's gonna be a lot.
For this card I used an embossing folder and stamped VersaMark with it and did some emboss resist watercoloring.

heute habe ich eine recht pinke Karte, denn Birka feiert ihren Geburtstag. Birka habe ich in der Create a Smile Community kennen gelernt, wo sie immer total begeisterte Kommentare unter den Werken der Mitglieder hinterlässt. Wer sich so sehr für etwas einsetzt, muss auch mal belohnt werden!

But there is still a lot to do, before we get off and time is precious at the moment.
But of course I found the time to make a card for the new 613 Avenue Create Challenge. Our twist for July is "monochrome" and I used some teal shades.

heute startet eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und es geht um die beliebtesten Techniken. Ich habe für stempeln, Copics, Schüttelkarte  und eigenen Spruch entschieden.
Mein kleiner Neffe hat uns allen einen "gut Flutsch ins neue Jahr" gewünscht und weil er traurig war, dass er Weihnachten keine Schüttelkarte erhalten hat (sondern nur eine normale, doofe, ohne rasseln), habe ich ihm eine Silvesterkarte gemacht. :)

Happy New Year!
Today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and we had to use our favorite techniques for our projects. Mine were stamping, shaker element, copic coloring and creating my own sentiment. 
In Germany we wish "a good slide into the new year" (guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr) before the new year starts and when the new year is there, we say "happy new year" (frohes neues Jahr).
My three year old nephew wished as a more colloquial wish which I used for my sentiment.
I made this card for him because he was a bit sad that his christmas card wasn't a shaker card.

CAS Weihnachtsbaum / CAS christmas tree

dieses Jahr habe ich einige Karten mit stilisierten Weihnachtsbäumen. Das finde ich sehr chic und macht auch immer wieder Spaß. Hier habe ich wieder den Schneckenhintergrundstempel verwendet, aber dieses Mal mit Aquarellfarben coloriert. Die Schnecken werden im Hintergrundembossing wieder aufgegriffen, das Violett findet sich auch im Glitzerwashi wieder. So passt alles zusammen.

this year's christmas cards are a lot CAS. I made several cards with stylized christmas trees. I love those designs and it's so much fun to create them. I used the shells background again and colored this time with my Mijello Watercolors. The swirls can also be found in the dry embossed background, the purple in the washi tape. So everything fits perfectly.

Weihnachtshase / christmas bunny

Hallo :)

heute habe ich wieder eine Karte, bei der ich an dem eigentlichen Stempel etwas experimentiert habe. Der Hase ist eigentlich kein Weihnachtsmann, sondern ein Sensenmann. Ich habe die Sense weggelassen und einen Stern am Ende des Stabs gestempelt. Dazu einen Bommel an die Kapuze gemalt und einen weißen Rand am Ärmel gelassen. Die Idee schwebte mir schon lange im Kopf herum und ich wollte es mal ausprobieren und ich war selbst davon überrascht, wie gut es geklappt hat. :D

today I hve a card where I altered the stamp. The bunny is from a Halloween Set and he's a Grim Reaper and he usually holds a scythe. I didn't stamp the blade, added a star on top and drew a pompom and a white part onto the coat. I had this idea for a super long time and I wanted to try it and I was so surprised how great it turned out. :D
