today starts a new challenge over at Scrapping4Fun and the theme is "non traditional christmas colors". And I have the honor to guest design for them!
So I made a card in silver and blue with my beloved wreath set. I think it looks great in those icy colors.

today I have the honor to guest design at the Scrapping4fun-Challenge. This is challenge no. 124 and the theme is "under the sea/at the beach".
I made a shaker card with two goldfish and lots of sequins. I rarely use them lately which is a shame.
The background was made with distress inks and a piece of acetate. I love the technique.

heute habe ich die große Ehre, als Gastdesignerin bei der Scrapping4Fun-Challenge teilnehmen zu dürfen. Das Thema der Challenge Nr. 124 ist "unter Wasser / am Strand". Ich habe dafür eine Schüttelkarte mit zwei Goldfischen und vielen Pailletten gemacht. Diese benutze ich leider viel zu selten, was wirklich schade ist.
Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Inks und einem Stück Folie gemacht. Ich liebe diese Technik.

today I am guest designing for the new Create a Smile Challenge and the theme is "special day" and I made a card with the super-mouse and the sentiment "you rock" which could be used for a birthday or passed test or other occasion.
The background was made with a stencil and distress oxid ink and than I moved it a bit and put some glimmer paste over it as well.

Heute darf ich Gastdesigner bei der neuen Create a Smile Challenge sein und das Thema ist "besonderer Tag". Meine Karte könnte man für einen Geburtstag, eine bestandene Prüfung oder andere Gelegenheiten nutzen.
Den Hintergrund habe ich mit einer Schablone und Distress Oxid Stempelfarbe gemacht und die Schablone dann etwas verschoben und auch noch etwas Glimmer-Paste darüber gestrichen.

I created this card with this beautiful girl I don't use often enough. A combination of cool and warm greys and some skin colors creates a monochrome look.

I was the Gold Winner of the Bastel-Traum Challenge #48 "Watercolor", so I was asked to guest design for the new challenge. It's Challenge #51 at Bastel-Traum and the theme is "Easter and / or dots". I made this CAS easter card with some stamps by Create a Smile and Doodlebug Papers. I liked the challenge theme so much, I had to use both. :)

Ich hatte sehr viel Glück und wurde zum Goldgewinner der 48. Challenge bei Bastel-Traum gewählt. Daraufhin wurde ich eingeladen, bei der kommenden Challenge als Gastdesigner zu fungieren. Da sage ich natürlich nicht nein. Das Thema der 51. Challenge ist "Ostern und / oder Punkte" und ich habe diese Karte mit einigen Stempeln von Create a Smile und Papieren von Doodlebug gemacht. Das Thema hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich unbedingt beide Bereiche unterbringen wollte.
Die Challenge geht noch bis zum 14. April und wenn Du auch ein passendes Projekt hast, hüpf doch rüber und zeig uns Deine Kreationen! :)

GD: Heartfelt wishes / von Herzen (for Create a Smile)

I was the winner of the December Challenge by Create a Smile, so I was asked to join this month as a guest designer. The theme for february is "lovely" since Valentine's Day is approaching fast. I kept my card quite simple, but I underestimated the amount of time it takes to stamp so many hearts. :D
The hearts are solid stamps from different Create a Smile sets, so I didn't plan to have an outline. But after stamping those hearts, they just melted into each other and you couldn't make out any single hearts. So I had to take a black pen and outline those hearts.
To emboss the tray I used an embossing pen.

ich habe die Dezember-Challenge von Create a Smile gewonnen und wurde eingeladen, diesen Monat als Gastdesigner zu fungieren. Das Thema für die Februar-Challenge ist "lovely", da ja auch bald der Valentinstag ansteht. Dafür habe diese Karte gebastelt und es recht simple gehalten, auch wenn man nicht unterschätzen sollte, dass so viele Herzchen zu stempeln schon eine Weile dauert. :D
Die Herzen sind alles solide Stempel, das heißt ich hatte da einen Berg an roten, lila und rosa Herzen ohne schwarzen Rand. Das gefiel mir zwar in meiner Vorstellung, aber auf dem Papier stellte ich schnell fest, dass man bei der Menge an Herzen auf dem Tablett leider nicht mehr viel erkennen konnte, so dass ich die Herzen noch alle umrandet habe. Um das Tablett auch embossen zu können, habe ich einen embossing Stift genutzt.

vor kurzem habe ich bei CAS on Sunday gewonnen und wurde eingeladen, als Gastdesigner eine Karte bei der heutigen Challenge vorzustellen. Das Thema ist "Pets" (Tier/Haustier) und ich habe dafür eine herbstliche Karte gemacht.
Die geschwungene Ranke ist aus orangemd Glanzkarton gestanzt und setzt einen netten Akzent gegenüber der Wasserfarben.

a while ago I won the CAS on Sunday challenge and was invited to guest design today's challenge. The theme is "pets" and I made a fall card with a fox. 
The swirl is die cut from some orange mirror cardstock and gives a nice contrast to the watercolor pieces.

GD: Hallo Weihnachten / Hello Christmas (for Create a Smile)

ich darf diesen Monat Gastdesigner bei der Create a Smile Challenge sein. Das Theme diesen Monat ist "Hallo" und da ich unbedingt schon ein paar Weihnachtskarten machen wollte, habe ich das miteinander verbunden.
Für den Weihnachtsbaum habe ich ein Dreieck mit Kreppband auf weißem Karton abgeklebt und mit dem Muschelstempel bestempelt und gold embossed. Dann habe ich noch etwas Stempelfarbe darauf verblendet und bin von unten nach oben hin immer heller geworden. Dann habe ich das Klebeband vorsichtig entfernt und das Dreieck mit einem Stück weißen Rand ausgeschnitten.
Der Rest war dann ganz einfach: Noch ein paar Enamel Dots drauf, das Chipboard Weihnachten  mit Kleber bestreichen, ein Hallo embossen und alles auf eine Karte kleben.
Diese Karte sollte auch keine Probleme bei der Post haben, da nur das Hallo-Banner ein wenig erhaben ist. :)

this month I am the proud guest designer over at the Create a Smile Challenge. The challenge theme is "hello" and since I have to start with my christmas cards, I used this chance to combine both things. So my card reads "Hello Christmas" (in German).
For the christmas tree I made a triangle on paper with some low tack tape and stamped the shell stamp on top. I embossed in gold and blended some ink over it before removing the tape again. I got lighter with the color towards the top of the tree. After removing the tape I cut the triangle with a small white boarder and mounted it onto a kraft card.
The rest was simple: embossed sentiment, some enamel dots, the chipboard piece and everything glued down. :)

GD: eine etwas andere Hochzeitskarte / a different wedding card (for Aliciabel)

auch heute bin ich noch einmal Gastdesigner bei AliciaBel. Die Mai-Challenge läuft noch und heute ist noch und es gibt noch die Möglichkeit, an der Challenge teil zu nehmen.
Für meine Karte habe ich "Emily" genommen, sie ist an den Charakter aus dem Film "Corpse Bride" angelehnt. Passend zum Thema habe ich daraus auch eine Hochzeitskarte gemacht. Da ich keinen hübschen Blau-Ton hinbekommen habe, habe ich die Karte in einem warmen grau gehalten.

ja, der Titel ist richtig, das ist eine Karte zur Taufe. Sie sollte absichtlich keine religiösen Symbole haben, so hatte sich meine Schwester das gewünscht. Sie wollte die Karte verschenken. Eine Katze sollte darauf sein. Katze und nichts religiöses. Dabei ist dann diese süße Karte mit einem Hauch Vintage entstanden. :)
Diese Karte ist auch ein Gastdesigner Stück für scrapping4Fun, die gerade ihre 66. Challenge haben. Das Thema ist "Retro/Vintage".

yes, the headline and image are correct. This card was made for a baptism. My sister asked me to make a card for a baptism, but without any religious images or symbols. But a cat would be nice. So I made this cute card in a vintag style. :)

GD: Star Wars Rey Card (for Aliciabel)

heute bin ich Gastdesigner bei der Aliciabel-Challenge und durfte mit diesem tollen Digi von Rey spielen. Das Thema der Challenge ist "Movie" und da hat Aliciabel ganz viele passende Stempel, so dass mir die Wahl sehr schwer fiel, aber Rey stach dann doch heraus. Ich mache schon mal gerne Star Wars Karten und da ist ein Stempel für eine "Mädchenkarte" genau das, was mir noch fehlt, auch wenn meine Karte farblich nicht so mädchenhaft ist.
Neugierig geworden? Dann schau doch mal bei Aliciabel vorbei. Für die Teilnahme an der Challenge muss man einen Aliciabel Stempel nutzen, davon gibt es eine breite Auswahl im Shop und auch einige Freebies!

today I am the proud guest designer over at the Aliciabel Challenge and I had the chance to play with this wonderful Rey digi stamp. The challenge theme is "movie" and Aliciabel has a lot wonderful movie related stamps and I needed some time to decide. But I love making star wars cards and I needed an image for a girl's card. My card isn't that girly with those colors, but Rey can't be pink!  :D
