today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this month's twist is "use washi tape - foiled or matte". As you can see, my washi tape is neither. It's glitter. Why? Because glitter makes everything better. :D
And the foiled washi tape I planed to use was in different red and it didn't look that good on that card.

I printed a spiderman from a coloring page, colored him with copics, cut him out and atteched some string to his hand. For the background I used doodlebug paper and a semi transparent spiderweb paper. You might now it from old photo albums at least that's where I know that kind of paper from. I die cut a "happy" with a lawn fawn die and gave it a bit of a darker blending with some distress inks. One of the enamel sprinkle spiders from Doodlebug had to go onto that card too.

heute beginnt eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und diesen Monat lautet der Twist "nutze Washi Tape - foliert oder matt". Wie man sehen kann, ist mein washi tape weder noch. Es ist glitzrig. Warum? Weil Glitzer alles besser macht. Und weil das washi tape, das ich eigentlich verwenden wollte, farblich dann doch nicht so gut passte. Das Rot hat sich mit Spidermans Rot gebissen.
Spiderman habe ich von einer Ausmalbilder-Seite ausgedruckt und mit Copics angemalt und dann ausgeschnitten. Ein Stück weißen Faden habe ich dann an seiner Hand befestigt. Das happy ist eine Stanze von lawn fawn und ich habe dem blauen Papier mit etwas Distress Ink noch einen Ombre-Effekt verpasst. Das weiße Spinnenpapier ist von Doodlebug und das halbtransparente Papier ist wie das Papier in den alten Fotoalben. Man kann es aber so kaufen, man muss kein Fotoalbum dafür schlachten. Eine kleine Doodlebugspinne durfte natürlich nicht fehlen.

today starts a new Challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this month's twist is "Sentiment as the focal". I used a big "good luck" stamp by Create a Smile and some flowers and clear drops. Clean, simple and quick if you don't count the time the watercolors need to dry.

heute beginnt eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und diesen Monat ist der Twist "der Spruch als Hauptelement". Ich habe den großen "Viel Glück"-Stempel von Create a Smile genutzt und dazu ein paar Blumen und clear drops aufgeklebt. Schnelle und einfache Karte, wenn man mal von der Zeit absieht, die die Aquarellfarbe zum Trocknen braucht.

I used some stripes of paper I had i a drawer, an image I colored for a 30 day challenge, I think and some left over piece of ribbon. A quick card and great use of scraps! :)

Since I colored the whole image I didn't just want to cut out one piece, so I die cut a big image and three smaller hexagons.

heute beginnt eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und der Twist diesen Monat ist "nutze die Scheinwerfer-Methode". Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich "spotlight technique" richtig übersetzt habe. Man hat ein Bild, das nur als Linie oder in schwarz-weiß besteht und setzt dann einen oder mehrere Punkte mit Farbe ein. Ich habe dafür Sechsecke genutzt.

Wenn du auch eine Idee hast, was du machen könntest, dann schau doch mal vorbei und zeig uns dein Projekt!

today starts the may challenge over at 613 Avenue Create. The theme is "Shaker card" and I made a Star Wars themed one. Yesterday was "may the fourth", so it was star wars day. But I think, every day should be star wars day. :)
The sentiment reads "Happy Birthday to you, marmalade in your shoe". It's from a silly german birthday song kids love to sing.

heute startet eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und das Thema ist "Schüttelkarte. Ich habe eine Star Wars Schüttelkarte dafür gemacht, schließlich war gestern der vierte Mai und auf englisch klingt "may the fourth" wie "may the force be with you". Es war also Star Wars-Tag.
Wobei eigentlich jeder Tag Star Wars Tag sein sollte. :)

For weddings I like it a bit more splurging. The card is qite big. It's DIN A5, so youy have a lot of space to write a message to the newly weds.

Bei Hochzeitskarten kann es bei mir gerne etwas pompöser sein. Dadurch, dass die Karte mit DIN A5 recht groß ist, hat man auch viel Platz für eine Nachricht an das frischgebackene Ehepaar.

Hello and Happy New Year! :)

In a few hours 2019 starts and I am trying to get ready. But since not everything has to be done by January 1st, I feel quite relaxed. For my Stampcorner blog post I showed my new bullet journal for 2019. The monthly pages, the first week and a mood tracker.
I haven't filled in any dates and to do's since I don't want to share to much. And I also have the week off and not much to do. ;)

In ein paar Stunden haben wir schon 2019 und ich versuche immer noch, alles fürs kommende Jahr fertig zu machen. Da aber ja nicht alles am 1.1. fertig sein muss, seh ich es doch noch etwas locker.
Für den Stampcorner Blog habe ich mir mein neues Bullet Journal vorgenommen und die Monatsüberssicht für Januar, einen Mood-Tracker und die erste Januarwoche gemacht.
