heute ist mal wieder Freitag und damit steht auch eine

neue Challenge bei der Sister Act Card Challenge an. 

Durch den Feiertag heute haben ja viele frei. Wie wirst 

Du den Tag nutzen? Ich werde auf jeden Fall basteln

und mich mal wieder durch die Challenge-Blogs schlagen

und schauen, was so ansteht. :)

Hier habe ich eine Karte mit einem tollen Motiv von 

Saturated Canary. Ich mag die Farbkombi von dem 

grün und lachs total gerne, allerdings muss ich mich dann

auch jedes Mal durch meinen Motivpapierbestand wühlen,

um etwas passendes zu finden. Ich hab auch schon versucht,

ein passendes Band zu finden, allerdings bisher ohne Erfolg,

so dass ich das Band auch mit meinem Copic einfärben musste.

Here I have a card with this super cute Saturated Canary

image and I love this color combo. But evertime I have

to dig through my patterned paper stash to find something

that fits this green and salmon combo. Hard times. :D

I tried to find some ribbon too, but I wasn't successful, yet.

So I colored my ribbon with my copic marker.

Heute habe ich eine Karte, bei der ich meine Viva Decor

Stempel noch mal ausgegraben habe. Die Libelle war ein
Versuch, zwei Farben zu verblenden, die eigentlich nicht

verblendbar sind. Hat auch nur so lala geklappt. Muss ich

wohl noch mal etwas üben. :)

70. Geburtstag / 70th Birthday

Hallo :)
heute habe eine Karte, die ich zu einem 70. Geburtstag gemacht habe.
Es war eine Auftragsarbeit und da ich das Geburtstagskind nicht kenne,

hat mich das vor eine große Herausforderung gestellt. Was soll auf eine

Karte für eine 70jährige Dame? Also habe ich etwas gekramt und eine

Vintagekarte gebastelt. Die Rosen habe ich selbst gedrecht, die Blätter 

sind auch selbst gemacht. Und auch wenn meine Schwester versucht hat,

die Ecken wieder gerade zu biegen und anzulegen, sollten sie doch 

abstehen. :D

Mit der Karte darf ich auch diese Woche Gastdesigner bei der 

Scrapping4Fun-Challenge sein. Thema ist: #35 Vintage.
Das passt ja wie die Faust aufs Auge. :D

today I have a card for a 70th birthday. I don't know the Lady who 

got this card, so it was quite hard for me to think of something.
What do you craft for someone you don't know.
So I thought about something vintage with flowers.
I made the roses and leaves myself. My sister wanted to straight
out the edges but I wanted them to curl around. :D

Die Eulen von Marienne Design sind echt meine meistgenutzten Stempel.
Die Karten finden im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis auch so großen Anklang,

dass ich immer wieder neue machen kann. :)

Heute sind sie auf einem etwas gedeckteren Hintergrund. An die Arbeit mit 

brauntönen muss ich mich erst gewöhnen, denn das ist normalerweise nicht 

meine erste Wahl, wenn es um Farben geht. Allerdings finde ich, dass es mir

hier recht gut gelungen ist. Und auch wenn die Produkte von verschiedenen 

Firmen sind, so harmonisieren sie doch recht gut.

Hallo :)

Diese Karte ist ebenfalls ein altes Schätzchen, 

das ganz prima zum Throwback Thursday passt.

Damals hatte ich ganz frisch meine ersten Spectrum Noir Stifte.
Das Purple-Set war sogar meine erste Packung und ich habe

viel damit experimentiert, wobei ich im nachhinein sagen muss,

dass mir die Lilatöne auch am schwersten gefallen sind.

Wer sich überlegt, selbst mal so ein Set von 6 Stiften zu kaufen,

um auszuprobieren, ob das was sein könnte, dem empfehle ich

das Turquoise-Set. Die Stifte sind alle aus der gleichen "Familie"

und da hat man nicht viel Mühe mit dem Schattieren.

Wie man der Farbe schon ansieht, bekommen sie ein Mädchen. :)
Ich mache allerdings auch öfters Babykarten in gelb, grün oder anderen Farben,

die nicht so geschlechtsspezifisch sind. Keine Macht der Pinkifizierung!! :D

Heute habe ich wieder eine quadratische Karte und wie versprochen ist sie nicht lila. :)

Ich habe allerlei auf die Karte gepackt und hatte zwischendurchdie Befürchtung, 

dass es zu viel sein könnte.Bei dieser Art der Kartengestaltung habe ich noch nicht so viel Routine.

Die Kanten habe ich mit der ColorBox-Farbe distressed.

Den Spruchstempel habe ich zuerst in die heller Farbe gedrückt und

dann die Außenkanten noch in die dunklere Farbe, so dass ein leichter Farbverlauf entsteht.
Da ich keine grünen Perlen habe, habe ich sie mit den Spectrum Noirs angemalt.

 today I have another square card, but this time it´s not purple. :)

I put a lot of stuff on this card and since this kind of card decoration is quite new to me, 

I wasn´t sure when to stop. I need more practice.

I distressed the edges of the card and papers with the colorbox inks.

The sentiment stamp was first inked with the lighter green color and then rocked 

into the darker color for some color-shifting.

Green pearls are nothing I would buy (and I have never seen them), 

so I colored some white halfpearls with my Spectrum Noir pens.
