there is a new Blog post over at the Stampcorner-Blog. I made a Halloween tag with some MFT supplies. I don't celebrate Halloween, but I love to create some cards and tags every year.

I have a new project over at the Stampcorner-Blog and this time I made a bookmark. I took the lovely Mama Elephant stamp set and decided on a green and red color scheme. I also took a deep dive into my craft supplies and found my enamel accents which I should use more often. But most of the times I don't want to wait for them to dry. I am not patient enough.
When I searched through my stamp sets for a good sentiment I found this "I love this life!"-stamp and it was perfect. I love reading and it's a important part of my life and makes my life so much better.

heute habe ich wieder ein Projekt auf dem Stampcorner-Blog und dieses Mal ist es ein Lesezeichen. Dafür habe ich mir das süße Mama Elephant Stempelset ausgesucht und mich für ein rot-grünes Farbschema entschieden. Ich habe sogar meine Enamel Accents noch mal ausgepackt, was ich viel öfters tun sollte. Aber ich bin meistens zu ungeduldig und habe keine Lust darauf zu warten, dass sie trocknen.
Auf der Suche nach einem guten Spruch bin ich über "ich liebe dieses Leben!" gestolpert und fand das sehr passend. Ich lese unheimlich gerne und es ist für mich auch ein ganz wichtiger Teil meines Lebens, der mich glücklich macht und mein Leben verbessert.

Von meiner letzten Karte hatte ich noch eine Blume übrig und da dachte ich mir, ich mache einen Anhänger daraus. Man kann ihn auch als Lesezeichen verwenden. Hoppy Easter

I hope you had a wonderful (easter) weekend. I visited family so my blog post had to wait. Those are some last minute easter tags I made. I stenciled the background and used those super cute bunnies by Mama Elephant. On the other side I wrote my nephews names with some Altenew dies and Lawn Fawn paper. That's it. I think the bunny cutting and foam tape mounting took most of the time.

Ich hoffe, du hattest ein tolles (Oster-) Wochenende. Ich war bei meiner Familie, also musste der Blogbeitrag mal wieder warten.
Hier sind zwei Last-Minute-Ostergeschenkanhänger. Der Hintergrund wurde schabloniert (ich finde das Wort komisch, aber so heißt es nun mal) und dann habe ich die süßen Hasen von Mama Elephant darauf gesetzt. Auf der Rückseite habe ich mit Altenew-Stanzen und Lawn Fawn-Papier noch die Namen meiner Neffen geschrieben. An sich gingen die ganz schnell. Das Ausschneiden der Hasen und das Aufkleben der Klebepads hat am längsten gedauert.

I did some Halloween baking and I needed some tags for the cookie bags. The sentiment reads "no worries ... I'm just here for the cake". :D

Weihnachtsanhänger / christmas tags

Hallo :)
ich bin wieder da! Ich war ein paar Tage bei der Familie und habe gemütlich Weihnachten gefeiert. Ich hoffe, ihr habt alle schön gefeiert und hatte eine tolle Zeit. Weil es vorher aber so stressig war, bin ich nicht dazu gekommen, alle Karten und den ganzen Weihnachtskram zu posten. Das hole ich aber noch nach.

Ich habe dieses Jahr fast alle Weihnachtskarten mit dem Winter-Kit von Create a Smile und einigen anderen Zutaten gemacht. Ich hätte zwar vorher nicht damit gerechnet, aber manchmal kommt es, wie es kommt. Die Investition hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt und ich bin schon auf das nächste Kit gespannt.

Heute zeige ich einige Weihnachtsanhänger. Ich habe ich 12 Stück davon gemacht und sie an Tüten mit selbsgebackenen Plätzchen gehängt. Von einigen Farben habe ich zwei oder drei gemacht, aber nur einen Anhänger pro Farbe fotografiert. Die waren sich alle sehr ähnlich.
Die Tüten habe ich an meine Kollegen und an meinen Paketboten gegeben. Der hatte besonders viel zu tun, da ich den größten Teil des Weihnachtseinkaufs bei Amazon erledigt habe.

I am back from the family christmas vacation. I hope you all had a merry christmas. The weeks before christmas were very stressful and I didn't post all my christmas cards and tags. But I will do so in the next few days.

I made almost all my cards this year with the winter-kit by Create a Smile and some other crafty stuff. I didn't expect that when I bought it, but it just happend. The money was well spent and I can't wait to see the next kit. :)

Today I show you my christmas tags. I made 12 of these for bags with cookies I baked myself. Some colors I made double or triple, but made only one photo. They were all quite similar.
The bags were for my colleagues and my DHL-package-men. He had a tough job since I ordered most of my christmas gifts on amazon.

I used the colors of the german flag: black, red and gold.

I colored the dress with only 3 copics: Y17 (golden yellow),

12 tags of 2015 - May

Ich habe wieder mal bei der 12-Tags-Challenge von Tim Holtz

mitgemacht. Im Mai geht es um ein Vintage Tag mit einem alten

Passfoto.

Dieses Mal habe ich mir beim Tag ein paar mehr kreative Freiheiten

erlaubt. Das lag größtenteils daran, dass ich nicht alle Originalprodukte

habe, aber auch daran, dass ich keine 1 zu 1 Kopie machen wollte.

Als Foto habe ich ein altes Bild meines Vaters genommen. :)
 Das Foto habe ich mit Copics nachcoloriert und die kleinen roten
Tickets mit Copics etwas distressed. Die Stempel sind von Marianne
Design und Action. Ich habe die Ranger Texturpaste und einige Distress
Farben benutzt (old paper, barn door,evergreen bough). Damit habe ich
den Kork, das gelbe Band und das Foto distressed.
Das Spruchbanner ist die Überschrift aus einem alten Buch.

I made a tag for the 12-tags-challenge by Tim Holtz.

The may-challenge is all about vintage and using an

old passphoto. I used an old photo of my dad. :)

This time I was a bit more creative with the inspiration.
I didn't want to make a copy of Tim's tag, but wanted to

create something personal.
The photo is colored with copics, I also distressed the
mini tags with copics. The stamps are from Marianne Design 
and Action. I used the texture pasteby Ranger and some 
distress colors (old paper, barn door,evergreen bough)
to distress the cork, the photo, and the ribbon.
The banner is the headline from an old book page.

My Tag 2015 - March (and Art Journal Page)

Als ich sah, was Tim Holtz für den März in seinem 12 Tags of 2015

gemacht hat, musste ich meiner Kreativität auch freien Lauf lassen.
Mein Wochenende war sehr kreativ.
Zuerst habe ich mich an meinem Art Journal ausgelassen. Das kann
man unten sehen. Das hat mir schon viel Spaß gemacht, allerdings

war ich mit dem Farbergebnis nicht zufrieden. Es war mir nicht 

leuchtend genug. Ich brauchte puren Regenbogen. :)

Aquarellstempeln: Anhänger und Karte (watercolor stamping: tag and card)

heute habe ich eine recht einfache und übersichtliche

Karte für euch und den passenden Anhänger dazu, wobei

die beiden Basteleien an unterschiedliche Leute gehen.
Ich habe den Stempel mit den Tuschestiften angemalt und
dann mit Wasser besprüht. Danach habe ich zwei Stempel-

abdrücke gemacht. Aus dem ersten habe ich den Anhänger 

gemacht, aus dem zweiten die Karte.

Dafür habe ich einen Anhänger gebastelt und einen

Ich habe mich für ein weihnachtliches rot und ein etwas

untypischeres blau entschieden, da ja auch das Bild 

eher untypisch ist. ;)

Hallo :)

gestern war ich wieder ein bisschen kreativ.
Als ich nach meiner längeren Sommerpause die Challenge-Blogs 

durchstöberte, stieß ich auf die "12 Tags of 2014" Challenge für 

September und war begeistert! Regenbogen-Schmetterlinge!
Was für eine Combi. Das musste ich direkt auch machen :D

Hello :)

I was a bit creative yesterday. I had a longer summer break 

and searched the challengeblogs for new challenges and found

the 12-tags-of-2014-Challenge for September and was instantly

blown away. Rainbow Butterflies! The worlds best combination!
I had to do it :D

Anhänger: gestempelt und gestickt (Tag: stamped and stitched)

Hallo :)

Bei der Whiff of Joy-Challenge geht es im Moment um "sewing", also nähen.
Da ich zwar etwas nähen kann, aber keine Nähmaschine habe und mir
das von Hand auf Papier doch etwas zu umständlich ist,
habe ich das Thema für mich etwas umgewandelt und ich habe gestickt.
Kein Kreuzstich oder irgendetwas besonderes, sondern einfach nur die Linien
des Motivs mit farbigem Garn nachgezogen.

Ich habe auf einem Stückchen Aida-Stoff das Motiv mit einem alten Stempelkissen

gestempelt, so dass man es noch erkennen kann, aber die Farbe nicht zu dominant

ist. Dann habe ich mit Resten aus meiner Stickkiste die Linien nachgestickt
und am Ende das Motiv mit Aquarell-Stiften ausgemalt.
Natürlich habe ich kein Wasser dazu gegeben, das würde ja

durch den ganzen Stoff ziehen, aber die Aquarellstifte hatten eine schöne Farb-

abgabe auf dem Stoff, wie ich fand.

Dann habe ich ein Stückchen weißen Karton dahinter geklebt, weil sonst das

dunklere Motivpapier durchscheinen würde. Den Anhänger hab ich dann noch 

etwas dekoriert und das war´s auch schon. :)

There is a sewing-themed challenge over at Whiff of Joy. I like sewing

on cards and I can sew a bit, but I do not have a sewing mashine and to sew

on cardstock by hand was a but to much work for me. (Ok, I'm lazy.)
So, I changed that theme a bit for me and I stitched. No crossstitching or 

anything fancy. Just following the lines with colored thread.

I took a piece of Aida cloth and stamped with an old inkpad so the ink

wouldn't be too bright. Then I stitched along the lines and colored the

image with watercolor-pencils. I added no water since it would soak 

into the cloth and I would have no control at all. But I thought the color

of those pencils on cloth wasa just the right amount of color.
I used some short pieces of thread from my stitching box. You don´t need
a lot of thread for the outlines.

I put a piece of white cardstock behind the cloth so the patterned

paper wouldn't shine through and I decorated the tag a bit.
That´s it :)

Farbenfroher Anhänger (12 Tags of 2014 - June)

Hallo :)
Ich bin gestern über die Tim Holtz Challenge "12 Tags of 2014 - June" gestolpert

und war total begeistert. So viel Farbe auf einmal und so eine tolle Technik!
Das musste ich ausprobieren und habe fleißig rumgesaut und habe immer noch 

verfärbte Finger. Aber ich bin zufrieden mit meinem Ergebnis. :)

Dabei wurden nicht die Lücken in der Schablone ausgemalt, sondern die Schablone

an sich und dann Papier darauf gedrückt. Ich habe die Schablone mit den Tusche-
stiften von Tchibo bemalt und dann mit Wasser besprüht. Dann habe ich das

Aquarellpapier darauf gedrückt, wieder abgehoben und trocknen lassen.

Für die Schmetterlinge habe ich mit diesen Farben ebenfalls Aquarellpapier coloriert

und nach dem Trocknen die Schmetterlinge mit Memento darauf gestempelt.

Die Sprüche habe ich mit Colorbox Wicked Black gestempelt, da mir das Schwarz

satter vorkam als das, was mein Memento-Kissen noch hergibt. Dennoch habe ich

den größeren Spruch noch einmal mit einem Copic-Fineliner nachgezogen.
Das Band und die Perlen habe ich mit Copics (Y17, YG23) und 

Spectrum Noirs (FL2, BP6, HB3, IB2) eingefärbt.

yesterday I saw the Tim Holtz Challenge "12 Tags of 2014 - June" and I was 

instantly excited. So many colors and such a great technique! I had to try it.
So I made a real mess (and I still have colored fingers), 

but I´m happy with my tag. :)

I colored my stencil with indian-ink pens, which are water-soluble, and sprayed

it with a mist of water. I put my watercolor-paper on, lifted it up again and let it dry.
I also colored some more paper with those pens and stamped the butterflies with 

memento tuxedo black on it, after it had dried.

The sentiments were stamped with colorbox "wicked black", because the black

was a bit richer than the color from my memento inkpad. (Time for a new one?)
But on the bigger sentiment I colored all letters with a copic fineliner to

make them even more black.

Ribbon and Pearls were colored with Copics (Y17, YG23) and 

Spectrum Noirs (FL2, BP6, HB3, IB2).
