maybe you saw my card at the Stampcorner-Challenge or here at my blog a few days ago and are curious how I made this. For more photos to my description, please visit the Stampcorner-Blog.
The special thing for this cards are the shimmer background with a color shift. So, how did I do that?

First I have to tell you that I am a bit lazy sometimes and I love having products like shimmer and glimmer pastes in different colors. But that is not really necessary. You can get great colored shimmer pastes with just one paste.
I searched through my stencils and found the one I liked and blended Distress Oxides over it. But Distress Inks or other blendable inks work just fine too.
After the ink hat some time to dry I put Nuvo Glimmer paste in Moonstone (clear) over it. You have to clean the stencil quickly so the paste won't dry on it.
The paste needs some time to dry on the paper. So I stamped and colored the birds and die cut and ink blended the leaves.
I embossed a sentiment onto some vellum and put everythings together.

vielleicht habt ihr ja meine Karte in der neuesten Stampcorner-Challenge gesehen und ich wollte euch noch an einer zweiten Karte noch zeigen, wie ich sie gemacht habe. Mehr Fotos zur Beschreibung findest du im Stampcorner-Blog.

Das besondere an den Karten ist der Hintergrund: Schimmer-Paste mit Farbverlauf. Wie bekommt man das hin?

Auch wenn ich öfters mal faul bin und gerne Schimmer- und Glitter-Pasten in allen möglichen Farben habe, ist das nicht nötig, denn eine Paste könnte schon reichen!

Als erstes habe ich mir eine passende Schablone ausgesucht und mit Distress Oxide Inks das Motiv auf dem Karton aufgetragen. Bei der Karte der Challenge habe ich Distress Inks genommen. Es funktioniert mit beiden super und man kann die Farbe nehmen, die man hat oder die einem besser gefällt. Dann habe ich die Schablone gesäubert und die Stempelfarbe etwas antrocknen lassen.
Dann habe ich die Schablone wieder genau aufgelegt und die Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone darüber verteilt. Die Paste ist farblos mit sehr sehr viel Glitzer, so dass die Farbe, die wir vorher aufgetragen haben, wunderbar durchscheint. Die Schablone wird dann vorsichtig abgezogen und sofort gereinigt, damit die Paste nicht darauf trocknet.
Der Hintergrund muss aber eine Weile trocknen und in der Zeit kann mit der restlichen Karte weitergemacht werden.
Ich habe die zwei Papageien von dem MFT-Set "Toucan do it" gestempelt und coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Die Füße waren dabei am schwierigsten. Hier bieten sich die Stanzen wirklich an!
Auf einem Streifen Vellum habe ich das Hurra gestempelt und in Gold embossed. Aus Aquarellpapier habe ich zwei Blätter ausgestanzt und mit den gleichen Distress Farben verblendet.

Als die Schimmer-Paste trocken war, habe ich den Hintergrund mit einer Stanze durch die BigShot gejagt, damit er einen schönen Rand bekommt. Und ich habe alles zusammen auf einer schwarzen Karte angerichtet! :)

helped on school trips and stuff. Sadly it's not normal

to help, especially the stay-at-home-moms never have

time to help on school trips or festivals.
So I wanted to acknowledge the help of the parents

Das Wetter war ja so regnerisch und trüb, 

dass ich einige Karten in der Fotobox foto-

grafieren musste. Aber selbst dort hatte ich

ein paar Probleme. Vielleicht lag es am Licht

selbst, vielleicht auch daran, dass die Karte 

eine Schimmeroberfläsche hatte und das Licht

ganz komisch reflektierte. Kommt vor.

dark all the time. So I had to use a photobox, 

but the photo is still not ok. Maybe the lights

were not ok or the shimmering cardstock 

made it harder. Happens.

der Blogbeitrag ist geplant, da ich an den Feiertagen

keine Zeit zum Bloggen haben werde. Dennoch habe

ich ein paar Karten, die super zu einem Throwback 

Thursday passen. Sie sind aus dem Anfang meiner 

Weihnachtskartensaison 2014 und ich habe allerlei

ausprobiert. Meine Mutter war von der Karte begeistert,

ich finde es ist zu viel. Da sieht man mal wieder,

wie unterschiedlich die Geschmäcker sind. :)

aussieht. Und ich habe dieses Mal eine andere Stanze aus dem

Set genommen.

heute habe ich eine recht einfache und übersichtliche

Karte für euch und den passenden Anhänger dazu, wobei

die beiden Basteleien an unterschiedliche Leute gehen.
Ich habe den Stempel mit den Tuschestiften angemalt und
dann mit Wasser besprüht. Danach habe ich zwei Stempel-

abdrücke gemacht. Aus dem ersten habe ich den Anhänger 

gemacht, aus dem zweiten die Karte.

and sprayed some water over it. Then I made two prints.
The first print is the tag, the second is on the card.
