no-line water coloring

Samstag, 6. August 2016

Hallo :)

Hello :)
For this card I challenged myself to some no-line water coloring. I usually color my images with copics, so this was a bit tougher, but I think it worked out fine. It's still not perfect though. ;)
The sentiment reads something like "let yourself be celebrated". So it's for someone who has to celebrate something and will be the centre of the celebration.

Stamps, Stencil and Die: Create a Smile
Colors: Distress Inks (Ranger); Mijello Mission Gold Watercolor
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
Embellishments: Pretty Pink Posh; Sequins from my stash; Glossy Accents

  5. This card is simply charming! I really love how it turned out and thought it was so clever of you to build a scene here. And I think it's admirable that you got out of your box and used watercolors to color this with instead of Copics. I like the watercolor look and even though you said it wasn't perfect, it sure looks perfect to me! Thank you for sharing such a delightful creation with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
