New month, new challenge! This month's theme over at 613 Avenue Create is "Anything Goes / create your own designer paper". I created my background paper with several create a smile stamps and colored them with watercolors. I used an no line coloring technique. I like it for watercoloring.

Spring is here! We have wonderful sunshine and 20°C outside. But the evenings are atill quite cold, so I used the time to craft some more. I thought it was fun to play along in the Altenew color- and photo-Challenge. I grabbed some Altenew products and got started. But getting those colors together wasn't an easy one for me.

Zunächst dachte: zwei Violetttöne und grün geht doch prima, aber dann war es doch härter als erwartet.

schon wieder Freitag! Und die Sommerferien
schreiten voran. Wenn ich nicht aufpasse,
sind sie ruck zuck rum und ich hab nicht
alles gemacht, was ich wollte.
Die Karte unten hab ich schon vor einiger Zeit
gemacht und was Deutschland angeht, so passt
sie ja auch oft in den Sommer. Zumindest hier
im Rheinland braucht man auch im Sommer schon
mal öfters den Regenmantel und Gummistiefel. :(

Aber, davon lassen wir uns nicht runterziehen.
Denn es gibt eine neue Challenge bei den Sister Act Cards.
Also flux rüberhüpfen und mitspielen!! :)

Challenge bei Sister Act gibt. Und diese Woche

diesen tollen Cowboyjungen genommen.
Ich hatte ihn etwas groß ausgedruckt. Das fiel
mir beim Ausmalen nicht auf, erst beim Zu-

Am Wochenende habe ich ein bisschen experimentiert.
Ich habe mich zum ersten Mal an einem Art Journal 

versucht. Mal sehen, wohin mich das führt. Ich weiß

noch nicht einmal, ob es etwas für mich ist. Aber ich

fand es ganz interessant und da ich bisher viele Versuche

aufgehoben habe, dachte ich mir, warum nicht in einem

Buch experimentieren? 

In dem Zusammenhang habe ich meine Acrylfarben 

ausgegraben und fand das gold so toll, dass ich damit

unbedingt etwas machen wollte.
Also habe ich sie mit einem Schwämmchen dick auf

die Karte aufgetragen, damit der Goldglanz sehr gut

zur Geltung kommt. :)

last weekend I experimented a bit. I started an art

journal. I don't know where it will take me and I 

even don't know if it's something for me, but I 

find it quite interesting and I keep a lot of trials

(and error) in a box, so why not experiment in a

journal?!

So I took a few paints and did some stuff and found 

the gold acrylic paint so pretty I wanted to something

else with it, so I painted some on a card. Quite opaque

with a sponge.

Als ich den Reh-Stempel von Artemio sah, habe ich mich direkt in ihn verliebt, 

als ich ihn dann allerdings hatte, wusste ich nicht,
was ich damit anfangen sollte. :( Kennt ihr das auch?
Ich habe dann etwas herumprobiert und diese Karte ist entstanden. Zufrieden bin

ich nicht, aber man lernt ja daraus.

When I saw this deer stamp by Artimio, I was instantly in love. But when I had 

it, I dind´t know what to do with it. :(
So I stamped a bit here and there and tried different things. One thing is this

card. It´s not perfect and I don´t like it very much, but I try to leatn from my 

mistakes.

heute habe ich eine Karte, bei der ich wieder etwas mit meinen

Spectrum Noirs und dem Isopropanol experimentiert habe.

Dabei habe ich mit der breiten Stiftspitze auf eine Folie gemalt

und dann etwas von dem Isopropanol darauf getropft und mit 

einem Tuch wieder abgetupft.

today I show you a card where I experimented with my Spectrum Noirs

and some rubbing alcohol. I scribbled with the chisel nib on some acetate

and sprinkled a bit rubbing alcohol above it. Then I dabbed a papertowel

on it, to take some alcohol off the acetate and get an even better effect.

die Karte habe ich für die Colour Me...!-Challenge gemacht.
Nur gelb und blau als Farben zusammen zu verwenden, war

für mich schon eine Herausforderung. Zunächst wollte ich 

einen Sternenhimmel auf einer blauen Karte machen, allerdings

sah es nicht besonders gut aus und so hat sich im Laufe der Zeit 

diese Karte hier entwickelt. :)

for me just to combine yellow and blue. It´s not one of my typical color-

choices. I first wanted to make a blue card with stars, but it didn´t work out,

so after a while this card developed. :D

heute habe ich eine Karte, die ich vor fast einem Jahr gemacht habe.
Sie ist DIN A5 groß und ich habe sie für meine Eltern zum 

Vatertag und Muttertag gemacht.

Das Embossingpulver habe ich auf die Heyda-Farbe gestreut.
Die Stempelfarbe ist auf ölbasis, trocknet nur langsam 

und ist super klebring. Super für embossing, wie ich finde.

Und bei deckenden Embossingpulvern ist ja auch die Farbe des

Stempelkissens ganz egal. :)

heute habe ich eine Karte für die color me... Challenge gemacht.

Unten sieht man, welche Farben man verwenden durfte:

ein gelb-orange, indigo, dunkle himbeere und ein dunkel rot.

Die Stempel sind von prima und Rayher.
Die Farbe ist von ColorBox und die runden Dies von Nellie Snellen.

heute habe ich eine weitere Zwergenkarte für euch. Ich mag das Papierset von Ursus. Die Gartenzwerge sind so knuffig. :)
Den Spruch habe ich mit einem Fineliner selbst geschrieben. Eine nette Abwechslung zu Spruchstempeln, die auf so einem unregelmäßigen, etwas glänzenderen Untergrund nicht so schön stempeln.

heute habe ich wieder eine einfache one-layer-Karte mit sehr viel Stempelei für euch.
Es hat viel Spaß gemacht, noch einmal so viel zu stempeln, ohne es auch colorieren zu müssen. Die Farbverläufe der Versa Color-Stempelkissen finde ich total toll.
