April is unpredictable. First a winter card and now it's summer time. Just like outside. April weather outside and on my blog. :)
When I think of summer, I think of sunshine, swimming pool and of course ice cream. So this yummi die fits perfectly for a summer CAS card.

untypisch für die Jahreszeit, habe ich noch einmal eine Winterkarte. Das passiert manchmal einfach so. Die Stempel sind so süß und da kann man ja schlecht eine Sommerkarte draus machen. Obwohl.... ich werde mal überlegen. ;)

Sometimes I just want to use a special stamp set and have to make a card. And when this stamp set is a winter set, I make a winter card. Or could I make a summer card with those stmaps? Let me think about that! ;)

wir haben heute wieder eine neue Challenge bei Artistic Inspirations und das Thema für die kommenden zwei Wochen ist "alles geht" mit dem Twist "nutze die Farben deiner Flagge". Was für mich ja schwarz, rot, gold bedeutet und mich immer vor eine echte Herausforderung stellt. Das ist keine Kombi, die ich normalerweise so verwenden würde. Bei der heutigen Karte habe ich die Retro Rakete unseres Sponsors Dr. Digi. Ich habe das schwarz in ein dunkles grau umgewandelt und dann in dunkel grau, rot und gelb-gold die Rakete coloriert. Der Hintergrund ist etwas bunter. :)

today the new challenge over at Artistic Inspirations starts and the theme for the upcomming two weeks is "anything goes / twist: use the colors of your flag". So I had to use black, red and gold. It's always challenging for me since that's not my fav color combo.
I used this wonderful retro roket by Dr. Digi and colored it in red, grey (black) and dark yellow (gold). The background has some more colors. :)

heute gibt es wieder eine neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create und wie immer ist das Thema "alles geht". Der Twist diese Woche ist etwas umständlicher. :D
"Ein weißerer Farbton als blass - Gestalte dein Projekt mit neutralen Farben: weiß und beige. Schwarz und hell rosa können als Akzentfarben genutzt werden". Man man man, das setzte mich ganz schön unter Druck. :)
Aber mit dem tollen Stempel unseres Sponsors Oddball habe ich eine recht ansehnliche Karte gebastelt. Zumindest meinen Geschmack trifft sie. Ob ich den Twist gut getroffen habe, überlasse ich anderen Richtern. Zu meiner Farbpallette gehört beige nur sehr begrenzt.

today starts a new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and as every week the theme is Anything Goes. But this week's twist is a bit more complicate. :D

"A whiter shade of pale - Create a project using the neutral colors: white and beige. Black and Light Pink can be used as accent colors." Oh boy! High pressure on me. :)
But with this cute stamp by our sponsor Oddball I created a card I like very much. Beige was never my color and if I succeeded on this twist is for you to judge. I am happy as it is. ;)

Zeit zu lächeln / Time to Smile

da haben wir schon April. Ein Viertel Jahr ist schon wieder rum und die Osterferien auch. Ich kann es kaum glauben. Kaum hat man sich versehen, sind schon wieder Sommerferien.
In Sommerlaune war ich heute schon ein bisschen. Hier wird es langsam wärmer. Und da habe ich die Zeit genutzt und eine sommerliche Karte gebastelt.
