Hello :)
todays card is my first one with an action wobbler. I love those things, but it's hard to get you hands on them in Germany. This card is a mix and match of different stamp sets. I used the little bird by Clearly Besotted and the spiral stamp by Altenew to make a peacock. The sentiment is by Create a Smile and reads "Friends like you are the best". The peacock is attached to the action wobble and will move and sparkle. :)

bei der heutigen Karte habe ich verschiedene Stempelsets zusammengeworfen. Aus dem Vögelchen von Clearly Besotted und dem Spiralo-Stempel von Altenew habe ich einen Pfau gebastelt. Dazu ein Spruch von Create a Smile und fertig war die Karte. Der kleine Pfau sitzt auf einem Action Wobble. Es ist nicht so einfach, die hier in Deutschland zu bekommen, aber endlich hab ich welche, so dass der Pfau wackeln und glitzern kann. :)

Hello :)
the Space Explorer is back and this time he comes with a shaker. My nephew is always a bit disappointed when he doesn't get a shaker card. Poor thing. :D
Quick and easy card with some emboss resist ink blending and simple copic coloring.

der kleine Astronaut ist zurück und heute kommt er mit einer Schüttelkarte. Mein Neffe ist jedes Mal ein bisschen enttäuscht, wenn seine Post keine Schüttelkarte enthält. Das arme Tuktuk. :D

Die Karte ist super schnell gemacht, mit ein wenig embossen und ink blending und das colorieren mit den Copics geht auch fix.

Elephant card / Elefantenkarte

Hello :)
today's card is ... blue. I first thought about using different colors and making some kind of rainbow with every elephant in another color, but I loved the blue so much that I stuck with that. The Background elephants were colored in the same color and intensity so that I put a layer of vellum onto the card to draw the focus onto the main elephant.
The german sentiment means "make a wish".

die heutige Karte ist blau. Mit Elefant. Zuerst wollte ich jeden Elefanten in einer anderen Farbe machen und so eine Art Regenbogenkarte gestalten, doch gefiel mir das blau des Elefanten so gut, dass alles blau wurde. Da der Hintergrund auch embossed und mit dem gleichen blau coloriert wurde, habe ich etwas Vellum / Pergamentpapier darüber gelegt, damit es etwas gedeckter ist und nicht vom Spruch und dem Hauptelefanten ablenkt.

DT: shabby chic wedding card (for 613AC)

Hello :)
the last few months I got more and more into clean and simple designs, but from time to time I need to make a wedding card and those can be a bit more extravagant. This card is in DIN A5 (ca. 8 1/4 by 5 3/4 in) and leaves enough room on the inside for good wishes and maybe a poem or something like that. Wrapped in clear foil it will look good on the gift table and will not get lost between other enveloped cards.

The card is also for the new challenge over at 613 Avenue Create and this month's twist is "shabby chic". We'd love to see your creations!

in den letzten Monaten habe ich hauptsächlich "clean and simple" gearbeitet, also nach dem Motto: weniger ist mehr. Doch ab und zu muss dann eine Hochzeitskarte her und die darf auch gerne mal etwas üppiger sein, wenn es zum Brautpaar passt. Diese Karte ist in DIN A5, so dass man innen sehr viel Platz für Glückwünsche, ein Gedicht oder sonstige Gedanken hat. Hübsch in Folie verpackt ist sie auf dem Geschenketisch auf jeden Fall ein Hingucker und geht nicht zwischen anderen Karten verloren.

Die Karte ist außerdem für unsere neue Challenge bei 613 Avenue Create. Diesen Monat haben wir den Twist "Shabby chic" und ich hoffe, auch deine Kreationen dort sehen zu können.

Christmas 2017 - No. 001

Hello :)
It's August and I have a christmas card. Am I crazy? Probably! But I have to start early and I have some time now. My mother was so in love with the card I sent her last christmas, she wished for some cards for her in a similar style. So I started making some. I don't like making identical cards, so every card will be different.
I also love the winter flowers Set by Simon Says Stamp. It's perfect for some messy watercoloring. It's sad that the newer flower sets by Simon don't have the stitched lines outside of the leaves and flowers. I love that about the older sets.
I kept the watercoloring quite loose and messy on purpose. It fits the stampset and gives the card a more artsy look.

Es ist gerade mal August und ich poste schon eine Weihnachtskarte. Bin ich verrückt geworden? Wahrscheinlich! Aber ich muss früh anfangen und im Moment habe ich Urlaub und es regnet es ständig. Meiner Mutter hat die Karte, die sie letztes Jahr von mit bekommen hat, so gut gefallen, dass sie sich ähnliche Karten für dieses Jahr gewünscht hat. Also habe ich damit angefangen. Da ich nicht gerne mehrere gleiche Karten mache, wird jede Karte etwas anders sein.
Ich mag das Simon Says Stamp Stempelset sehr und es eignet sich sehr gut für wildere, künstlerische Aquarellarbeiten. Ich habe die Farben absichtlich fließen lassen.
Die alten Blumensets von Simon Says Stamp gefallen mir besser als die neuen. Bei den neuen sind die gestrichelten Linien alle in den Blättern, wodurch das Motiv weniger unordentlich oder künstlerisch wirken. Schade.

today I have a birthday card for boys. I need to make more of these. To many boys in my family and circle of friends. :)
I love the space explorer by MFT. It's just super cute. With some emboss resist and a bit of coloring it makes a great card!

heute gibt es eine Jungskarte. Ich brauche viel mehr dieser Art, denn in meiner Familie und meinem Freundeskreis gibt es fast nur kleine Jungs als Nachwuchs. :)
Ich liebe den kleinen Astronauten von MFT. Er ist echt süß und mit ein bisschen Farbe und emboss resist ist ganz schnell eine Karte gezaubert.
